March 15, 2011
On Friday 11th March myself and some other old birds went to see Ibsen’s Dolls House followed by an adaptation of Strindberg’s Getting Married, produced and performed by Library Theatre. Far from the grim Scandinavian miserablism we expected (& I had cynically programmed) this was a joyous and cathartic affair. As you can see from photos, we truly empathise with those “fallen women of Norway”, and I’m now casting myself as the Kristine Linde to Bob’s Krogstad. Theatre plus girlfriends equals great.

An Announcement
October 22, 2010
Me & Bob are going to get hitched. Unfashionable I know, but now they’ve cut the child benefit we’ve got to make up the difference with marriage tax gain.
Here is the invite we’re sending out – obviously if you know us (and have received it) then hopefully you’ll be there. If not, donations, flowers, best wishes, etc. gratefully accepted.
Heh.

This is my first personal blog. I don’t expect it to get used much, but you never know…
